I like how everyone else in this image has a normal actor photo and then there's Oleksander Rudynski who has an anime villain name and whose photo makes him look like he's about to become The Joker.

That doesn't sound like 08th MS Team at all. That sounds like a basic Gundam plot a la 0079, Seed, etc. |

No, that’s the worst series to base the movie on and a guaranteed bomb. I can only hope that the description being so vague means they just don’t want to admit it’s a direct adaptation of an existing series just yet. Still, a decades long war? Either that description is lying or we’re getting a curveball. |

To be fair, I feel like the "decades long war" bit is just clunky description - like they didn't know how else to summarize quickly the idea of these typical Gundam plot starting points. For instance, the original Gundam plot, even though it is called the One Year War, is actually a "conflict" that had been festering for a long time before overflowing into a war. I think that's what they were trying to get at, but didn't know how to put it while being brief and evasive.
