NEWS: Ao Kojima's Hon Nara Uru Hodo Manga Wins Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize

Hon Nara Uru Hodo is an alright manga but still has to publish its 3rd volume. Winning the main prize after the Manga Taisho this year is too much, too soon. Hand out a new talent prize, or something, as this is the first ongoing work of this mangaka, who has only had debt this decade, with a few oneshots.

i know its a silly question but ill ask anyways.

is it it possible Ao Kojima might be connected to mr Metal Gear Solid ( Hideo Kojima ) himself!?

The third volume came out almost two weeks ago.

Whilst Kojima Ao's 'Kojima' is '児島' in kanji. Kojima Hideo's 'Kojima' is '小島' in kanji.
Quick googling has told me that the personal profile of Kojima Ao is not made public much.
And Kojima Ao has said that 'Kojima Ao' is a pen name in an interview.
However, it is possible that Person A is a distant relative of Person B. If you really want to know whether Kojima Ao is connected to Kojima Hideo, you might have to wait for a genealogist to thoroughly conduct research on it.
