Wow, that's a welcome surprise! Definitely pre-ordering it ASAP.
I wonder if anyone will ever license Matsumoto's Hanaotoko. |

I was surprised too! This is definitely one of those announcements that makes pre-ordering feel like an easy decision.
As for Hanaotoko, I'd love to see it licensed someday. Matsumoto's works have such a unique style and storytelling approach, so it would be great if more of his lesser-known titles became accessible to a wider audience. Sometimes older or more niche manga get picked up years later, so I haven't completely lost hope. Are there any other Matsumoto titles that you'd like to see licensed or reprinted in English? |
