As someone who watched Daily Life of High School Boys and Saiki in their short versions rather than the later stitched together versions, this isn't a particularly unusual release style for me. It is a bit odd given the context of the comic is not a comedy or 4koma, but the manga chapters are pretty short, so it's probably because of that.

Just because they drop a number of episodes at once, doesn't mean you have to watch them all in one sitting. That is the big advantage of streaming. For those of us who don't work for ANN that is.
