Accessibility definitely has improved in bits and pieces over the years. Take Sailor Moon as an example, the ticketing system for Shining Theatre that is currently running is definitely not easy, but it is not the worst on the block anymore because they toured a few cities overseas and saw the enthusiasm first hand. That has left them an impression and allowed them to work on the logistics. Overseas fans definitely are willing to bring in the bucks to attend an event in Japan to support their favourite franchise, but currently, it is definitely not easy at all.
