There seems to be an error in the article. It states that:

Each number in the right hand column represents 1/million of the actual figure


I'm not quite sure what was meant by this rather cryptic phrase, but the header in the statistics pages says "(万部)", manbu, meaning "(10,000 copies)".

According to What's New of this web, this data is registered on 2003-09-01, and seems to be the data from 2002-01 to 2002-12.
