Saishu Heiki Kanojo but it would need to be shrinkwrapped.

Do you mean 'rare' as in 'obscure' to most of the fans?
Then:
Ryu Knight
Future-Retro Hero Story
I would really kill for a translation of FRHS.

I'd recommend more shoujo from Hana to Yume magazine. I mean, Fruits Basket is good, but wasn't my favorite in the anthology.
I like the following better, so naturally, I want them translated in English so more people can read them:
Skip Beat!
(I added a link to an English synopsis page in the Encyclopedia, so if you're interested, please check it out)
Sekai de Ichiban Daikirai
Tokyo Crazy Paradise
Koucha Ouji
Hanazakari no Kimitachi e
Boku no Chikyuu wo Mamotte(PSME)
Short Sunzen!
Ai wa Chikyuu wo Sukuu
And some non-Hana to Yume stuff:
Bara no Tame ni
Yamada Taro Monogatari
Umi no Yami, Tsuki no Kage
Sora wa Akai Kawa no Hotori
Hana no Asuka Gumi
THREE

I want Black Jack. He deserves it, he is the creation of a god after all.

Didn't Viz release a few volumes of Black Jack but drop it because of poor sales? Anyway, I'd love to have a domestic release of SaiKano. Also, it'd be very cool to have the Goldenboy manga. I doubt that will happen though, the manga supposedly goes H after a few volumes.

What's that old manga about the little boy who wears a police hat and a pair of tighty-whiteys? What little I've seen reprinted was pants-wettingly funny. But it's like twenty years old, so it's not riding a crest of hype.

in all honesty, I wish that the X/1999 manga had NOT been published. Not only does the left-to-right transfer screw up the backgrounds, but the only thing VIZ Publications actually did RIGHT was the SHONEN JUMP manga-zine translations. Sorry, but if you don't do something right the first time, some hardcore fans aren't gonna smile on your future products. Pardon my rant. It would be interesting, however, to see "You're Under Arrest!" in manga form.

How was the X background art screwed up? And what was wrong with the translation?

(tosses two cents in thread)
I'd love to see the Haunted Junction manga, or the manga of Shinesman. Retro-published from the OAVs and serieses... I would have said PSME if Viz hadn't picked it up. ^_^

Well someone just took the manga that I wanted to see translated the most (Yamada Tarou no Monogatari), I would like to see any of Toujou Asami's manga published, but probably not going to happen seeing as she's not that well known (overseas anyhow, I had no idea of any of her works until I bought two of her manga that were in a "manga sale" bin.) And the fact that most of her works are yaoi aren't really going to help either seeing as most works being licensed don't have much more than a mentioning of yaoi.
