DDD has free economy shipping on all orders for any amount and no tax.
For a comparision look at bleach boxset prices Rightstuf - $80.98 Amazon - $66.99 DDD - $58.72 ($46.97 during sale) Let's also look at 12 kingdom boxsets - the new economy ones Rightstuf - $44.96 Amazon - $44.99 DDD - $33.53 ($26.82 during sale) They usually have some of the best prices for boxsets and collections. |

They also can have mediocre packaging, so be sure to check over your purchases carefully once receiving them. I may cave and buy some non-anime boxsets from them, but I've pretty much stopped shopping from them for anime things ever since I received a scratched Hellsing disc (that took 3 months to replace), two loose discs (that had scratches but played okay so I didn't bother returning them), and a poorly packaged artbox that arrived in a torn envelope. Who ships artboxes in an envelope??

I've never received anything in bad shape. All my orders have been packed into sturdy boxes so i can't speak for anyone who might have recieved damaged items.

DD also has a very reasonable flat rate on 2-3 business day shipping, in addition to the free shipping option. It's $5.95 to get 2-3 business day shipping, no matter how much or how little you order.

Also just to let people know, when they come out with the different codes, someone once said that each one can only be used once. Well I found out that you really can only use one of the codes once, and then the others won't work for you either. So make sure you get everything you want on the first order. Unless there is some sort of trick to it that I am just not getting. |

One word of warning though. Also, if anyone can answer the question about different codes I had above that would be great. Otherwise remember this coupon can only be used once so be sure you get everything you want before you complete your order. |

That's weird. On the last sale I made two orders. You do have to use different codes, but I was able to get the sale discount on both orders. I didn't have to do anything special.
I don't think you have anything to worry about too much. I have ordered items during the sale that are out of stock and you still get the sale price. The only thing to keep in mind is that DD is painfully slow about getting stuff back in sometimes so you may end up waiting for a long time. I have heard stories that people ordering items that were currently out of stock later had their orders canceled without warning, but that has never happened to me. The sales prices will not work with pre-orders, so you can only buy stuff that is already released if you want the 20% off. I have been waiting for this sale and am probably going to get a bunch of stuff. I'm hoping that DD is starting to get their act back together service-wise. I haven't had any problems myself and have been buying from them for a long time, but recent bad experiences of others here (hi Mylene!) are enough to make me wary. |

Say what you want about this website, but it sure as hell gives great deals. Most of my collection comes from them, too. And no, they are not bootlegs. All legit!! /j |

I don't think you have anything to worry about unless you order something that is going OOP. However...
This I can attest to this as well. For out of stock items expect anything from two weeks to two months before it's shipped! This is from experience. On a relative note, they don't charge until the item ships. And if they do have it in stock it does ship pretty quick.
Hmm interesting, last time I tried like three different codes for an item that I had forgot to get the first time, and I couldn't get it to work. Chalk it up to bad mojo I guess.
