Okay, I haven't seen the Director's Cut yet; were any major character dub actors replaced? I know the guy who played Dr. Ikari made some hostile comments about Matt Greenfield in an interview, so I'm curious about this stuff.

Um, I think only Amanda Winn Lee (Rei), Allison Keith (Misato), Spike Spencer (Shinji), and Tiffany Grant (Asuka) are the only ones that came back. I could be wrong, though.

I personally didn't care for Gendo's new voice in the DC. It didn't fit. I still prefer Tristan's Gendo, but since he burned his bridges with ADV they had to recast him. Oh well.

Oh good, I wasn't going crazy. I could of sworn they changed a few of the voice actors.
Is there a list of the new voice actors and who they replaced? And BTW, what happened between Greenfield and the guy who did the voice for Ikari? |

IIRC, Tristan said he directed a couple of dubs that Matt Greenfield took screen credit for.

Everyone but Gendo, Karou, Aioba, and Ibuki are the same voice actors as the original. And a few of the SEELE guys are changed I'm sure, but Keil(sp?) has the same VA as before, which I liked because the Kiel in EOE and D&R sounded way to young to be him.
