I am not sure if this is old news or not but according to Animenation ( http://www.animenation.net/news/index.php?id=5835 ), Gundam Seed is coming to CN in April.

That's cool. I haven't seen Gundam Seed, but I've heard good things from those who have.

WTF happened to Zeta?

It’d be much more spectacular if CN would actually finish 0079.

I'm almost positive we already discussed this somewhere else but, Zeta might go to CN sooner or later, but when they showed the original, it wasn't as popular as Wing was, so I assume they are leary about showing Zeta, probably because it is still the old looking animation style, while SEED might cater to the younger generations needs of spick-spec-tangular animation.

Maybe if CN would finish 0079 instead of stopping five episodes from the end we would see Zeta.

They did. They aired them during Adult Swim.

If you want to see the ending, just buy the movies which are remastered, 5.1 and not covered in dub cooties

They aired it on Adult Swim, but even there never finished it. Hell, they got farther in the initial Toonami run than they did on AS.

It'd be illogical for the folks at CN to just tell everyone to go out and buy the DVDs. Either they run the show in full before airing Zeta or don't even bother.

Damn SEED, I want Zeta! I'm sick of those crappy subs.

Most Gundam is released on CN before DVD, so I'm sure the same will happen to SEED & Zeta.

I think SEED will goto Toonami but Zeta will goto Adult Swim.

Well, Char's Counterattack aired on Adult Swim without CN ever finishing the series, and without Zeta ever being aired or the original being fininsed. Mabye Z will go to AS.

SEED will most likely go to Toonami, although I would like to see it appear on AS so they could preserve the more mature aspects of the show without tailoring to little kids who just want to see a cool Gundam. Toning down the aspect of love from any anime (love, not sex) is a crime to anime fans everywhere. In certain cases, it actually defeats the entire purpose of the story. So....CN better wisen up and put it on AS so they don't make the same mistake they did with Kenshin.

No, they ran the last 5 eps on Adult Swim real quiet-like. Just the last 5. They then tried it again on AS starting from the beginning about 6 months later, and canned it.

They won't show Zeta at all. CN has told the anime companies "No more old stuff". Lupin keeps coming back because it's developed a huge following, but only as filler between shows.

Not much to cut out of SEED anyways, there was a few parts with bloodspoiler[the last part with G.E.N.E.S.I.S was pretty bloody, with the bodies exploding and what not...], so I'm not worried if they show it on Toonami.

I am.spoiler[The inferred sex scene between Kira and Fllay (And their subsequent talking about it in later episodes.) is crucial to the plot, and cutting out Nicol's death would lessen the impact that episode had. As well as cutting out all the deaths of people under the age of 18, because we all know CN hates to see minors get hurt.]
