Hi everyone. I've just recently picked up these two series and was interested in some websites that would have good, comprehensive info for the story and characters, etc.
The only sites I could find were retail. Any help would be appreciated. thanks! |

If you picked up both of these series why don't you watch them to find out the story and charachters, rather than just looking on a website. Also, I don't know if this is true, but if you got both of these because they made up a part of robotech, you should pick up AnimEigo's excellent release's of the original Macross series.

I have watched both of them. There were just some incidents that left me a little puzzled and rather than rewatch the series again right away I thought I'd see an episode break down instead. Like in Southern Cross when Jeanne and all was escaping from the Zor's ship (in space where Bowie rescues Musica) the ship blows up at the end of that show, but Musica's "sisters" and the triumverat survive. That left me confused as to what ship actually exploded.
As for the Macross series, I picked up the 9 disc box set from AnimEigo a couple years ago - very good series. I have watched all the Robotech series on dvd. Last edited by phoelixian on Wed Jan 21, 2004 9:34 pm; edited 1 time in total |

Robotech.com might be able to give you some better hints... it's been a long time since I saw the original Southern Cross, and even longer since I saw it in Robotech....

These series are fairly old, not a lot of sites on them:
Best Mospeada site is Cyclone's http://members.optusnet.com.au/~cyc01/index.htm Many people at Macross World http://www.macrossworld.com/ would be willing to discuss these two series - mostly in the "Other Anime or Science Fiction" forum. |

I dunno... I hesitated directing him there, as there are a large number of people who would not be overly enthusiastic about such a thread... including a few Mods... It would depend on how you present it, I guess. Stress the fact that you're looking for information on the actual series, not the Robotech content of the series. Robotech gets little love at that particular site.... Great board, though... I hang out there all the time.... |
