The FUNimation Channel Shop has a Buy 1, Get 1 Free category in their store.

Right now it features select titles from the S.A.V.E. line.

Ships to the US only.

Free shipping for orders over $25.

They don't want to fill out customs forms maybe? Neutral

Sadly, I'd love to take advantage of this, but there was only one thing I could find on there I want. The rest I either already have (which is most of that) or don't want. Anime smallmouth + sweatdrop

I wouldn't have minded getting Big Windup and Bamboo Blade, but oh well. Neither Bandai nor Funimation ships outside the US from their own websites....it sucks.

Actually, it's not all that great a deal. I checked it out and if you want to do the deal you will be charged full MSRP for the one you pay for, not the discounted amount (unlike when Frys does a BOGO). As it was, the only thing I really wanted was Bamboo Blade but I was considering adding Air Gear as the free item as I have heard some good things about it. When I tried to estimate shipping and tax I got a bunch of cryptic error messages so the only option offered was flat rate $5.99 shipping and I don't know if they were going to charge me sales tax (as Amazon does). I decided to check around and found that TRSI not only has the S.A.V.E. edition of Bamboo Blade at 40% off (weekly specials) but they are selling the non-S.A.V.E. box set for even less ($15.99). Since I was planning to buy a couple of artbooks from the Udon sale I got free shipping and I don't need to pay more than double to get a show I don't know I want (at minimum ordering on the FUNImation BOGO would have cost me $36).

To quote eloquently: FAIL.

There's nothing left in this line I want to own.

Just to note, this is not FUNi's shop but the FUNimation Channel's shop. FUNimation does not run the FUNimation Channel, Olympusat Inc. does.

Bandai does ship to Canada since I got an order from them last month.

Actually if you spend $25 or more, you get free shipping.

If you buy over $100 there, you can get free ground shipping (as long as there is the Free Shipping promo link with the item).
