I have a question concerning the DVDs of Code Geass.
Does anyone know if the issues with the first box set have been fixed now? And are there any problems with the second box set? Thanks for any answers! |

Which issues with the boxset? I own both sets 1 and 2 that are out and don't notice anything different, or wrong from the two.

There was a thread in the retail section when the first box set came out and I think most people decided to wait and either get the set or return the DVDs later so they wouldn't be messed up. And, since that thread has been inactive for a while, it would seem that Bandai fixed the problem and that there are no mistakes on the second set as well.

Maybe im not up to date on my day to day jargon, but what do you mean by "thread in the retail section?"

I thought that was what people called individual topics, threads. Anyway, here is the link for the original topic:

Yes, this a thread. Also the issues were with a new type of encoding that it was discovered (too late) that a lot of DVD players can't comprehend. Bandai has a disc replacement program in place so if you buy it, you can send it in and they'll send you one that works properly.
Also my copies only had slight problems. I think it skipped once but that was about it. The second set was perfect. |

I only have the first set so far but I had no problems with mine. I was playing it in a PS3. Both discs worked fine.

Ooooh I see now it was meant thread as in a forum thread.. I was thinking like a glitch in the discs themselves.. I apologize for being a doofus on the matter

Thank you for the replies.
I asked because I don´t live in the Us or Canada and therefore can´t exchange my discs afterwards. So I only wanted to know if the market already has fixed copies. |

Bought my set in the middle of December. First disc had some issues, but I suspect that was just my crappy DVD player. Put it in my laptop and there were no problems.
I'd say you're probably good if you bought your set around the holidays. |

@RamenPoodle
I didn´t buy it yet. I´ll probably get the LE for birthday in March Any way I´ve got 2 DVD-Players, a PS2 and a PC so I should be able to watch all episodes without problems even if there are some minor issues |
