Today at school some people i know told me that bush is planning to ban all anime from america if he's re-elected in November. The reasoning my friends gave me was it was to stop hentai from being produced here. This doesn't sound probable to me, but i just wanted to make sure if it was true or not.

Thanks!

No, it is not true. There is no grand conspiracy theory to "ban" anime.

The very notion of "banning" anime is illogical; it would be comparatively easier to remove "Freedom of Speech" from the constitution than it would be to "ban" a part of the entertainment industry.

Not only is it "not probable", it is downright impossible under the present government.
