or we can also call it "Help, I forgot it's name!"
Anyways, there was an anime movie I saw many years ago, but I totally forgot it's name, and I have no idea how I would find it other then asking fellow Otaku's. Anime #1: I saw this in, I think, the SciFi channel approximatly 6 or 7 years ago. I dont know how old it was by then. I missed the start, but from where I started, the story was about a ship that was traveling through space to find a planet to colonize. The entire crew was female, not a male in sight. While heading to the new planet, they were being chased by some bad guys. At one point, the bad guys (Or gals, since I dont remember any males except the one that came later) managed to get a creature of sorts (A blob type thing if I remember right) on their ship, and it attacked one of the crew members. They killed it, but discovered it made the crew member pregnant with something. Eventually she gave birth to something none of the crew ever saw before...a guy! They end up getting to the planet, but they have to defend it from the ones who were chasing them. They were also trying to figure out what to do with the male, since they didn't know if it was friend or foe. At the end though, they lost, and the planet initiated a type of built in self destruct feature it had (somehow). Instead of blowing up though, it killed all life on the surface transforming it to a barren wasteland. Right before it blows though, one of the female crew members and the guy manage to escape to the moon. Right after that, we learn that those 2 were basically Adam and Eve, the now barren wasteland planet was our moon, and the moon they escaped to was our Earth. Anime #2: I never saw much of it except some short clips many years ago, but now I'm curious, and want to maybe see a few eps. The only part I remember is when some girl gets pissed off, picks up a building, and throws it at some guy running away in a car. The story elements on these may be inaccurate since I haven't seen anything from them for many years. But hopefully it's enough to go off of. I'll be looking too. BTW, there was a 3rd anime I've been trying to find too, but for some reason, now that I finally wrote this topic, I totally forgot everything about it. ...when I remember, I'll ask. Thanks

Anime #1 is Gall Force - Eternal Story, there's no mistaking it.
Anime #2 is probably Saber Marionette J, when Lime throws a house at Hanagata. At least I don't know of any other anime where a house gets thrown!  I bet Mr. T could do it though...

Mr. T, indeed.
I pity da fool who doesn't see the irony between the two anime he asked to identify. The first has a ship full of women with no male in sight. The second, which is definitely Saber Marionette J, is about a group full of men with no female in sight on a ship. |
