And it will instantly outsell the newest idol winner in number of CD sold. Bandai is going to make some cash off this series, I am just wondering what else they are going to release to make some cash. I've got to believe that magic number for the licensing had to be quite a pretty penny.

damm....i bought all the singles from Haruhi series already...
although since they were about same price, i'm not that sore except the fact that boxset for DVD will have that particular single so i'll have 2 copies of same cd... |

You and me both. I have been buying every single as well. And I'm still buying them as they come out with new ones. I am going to preorder every "special edition" version of the dvd's as they are released, an if each special edition comes with a cd single, I guess I'll have extra copies of the singles as well. Ahh, oh well. *shrugs shoulders* I guess that's the life of one who's mind is in a state of Haruhiism. |

I'm already getting a bonus CD with the special edition that I've preordered and even if this CD that this topic is revolving around contains different tracks or extended ones over the ones featured in the bonus CD, I'm not interested, especially since the music in Haruhi didn't strike me as something awesome that drove me to immediately import the soundtrack.

I don't see why they are releasing them on the same day... They should release the CD a little after the DVD, so the people who are seeing the anime for the first time on DVD will actually care to buy the CD when they see it.
