This sounds very interesting, wish it had a physical release in English though.

I suppose the manga will have the same ending as the anime, since Masafumi Nishida wrote both. It's a decent, satisfying conclusion, even though the anime's finale botched it with lots of unfinished shots and even worse CG quality than the previous episodes.
