Toei is in fact capable of making great animated works,their animated originals are usually of high quality.and i do infact look forward to this. |

Yes, Toei can make some fantastic original stuff, an it's because of that that I'll be keeping an eye on this one. However, it's still feels like it's one Kyousougiga to every 3 Sailor Moon Crystals.

Anyway, I would not be too negative yet... It is always better to think positive and think the glass is half full. I tend to hold expectations low without being pessimistic.

Lots of original shows being announced recently, which is always a good sign to me. But the lack of details about most of them mean I'm pretty apathetic/neutral about each one specifically.

|
people love hating on Toei but forget the fact that they usually have AT LEAST 4 projects going on in a single season (I remember a stage last year they had 8 projects in a season). Not to mention most of their projects are long runners. I honestly think its unfair to expect them to make good quality animation with that many projects at once. Their the only studio that does so many projects at once.

This project is the CG Movie follow-up of "Expelled from the Paradise", it was announced in some time that Toei was planning to do it, and this time they finally gave the name and made the site. |

Announcing that there profits margins are good, while announcing a new original Anime, sounds pretty good. I8f they are doing well I can see it having a fairly high production value.
Edit: Someone seems to think that it will be CG, crossing my fingers that it won't be. |

Its not thinking, its 100% sure to be in CG. also note that this wasn't realy an announcement. This information was taken from their 2nd Quarter Financial results(every year Toei Animation releases 4 financial results: for the 1st quarter, 2nd, 3rd and 4th). In every financial result Toei animation talks about the short and long terms projects they are planning for the future. "Kado" is the "Expelled from Paradise" CG follow-up Project.
