Cannon Busters Animation Production Begins at Satelight

The Cannon Busters animation project updated its Kickstarter page on Monday and confirmed that Japanese animation studio Satelight (Macross Frontier, Log Horizon, Basquash!) has begun production. The project is an animated adaptation of LeSean Thomas' Cannon Busters comic book series.

The project reached its US$120,000 Kickstarter goal last November. Cannon Busters creator, writer, and director LeSean Thomas producing the project. The project also involves Thomas Romain as mechanical designer, Joe Madureira as character designer, and Bahi JD as an animator. Tim Yoon serves as a consulting producer.
