Toei Files Trademark for 'Dōbutsu Sentai Jyūōger'

Toei filed an application on September 7 to trademark 'Dōbutsu Sentai Jūōger' (Animal Sentai Jūōger) in Japan. Toei has yet to announce next year's entry — the 40th one — in the long-running Toei Super Sentai Series.

The 39th Super Sentai Series show, Shuriken Sentai Nin'ninger, premiered on February 22. The series also received a film titled Shuriken Sentai Nin'ninger The Movie: Kyōryū Tono-sama Appare Ninpōchō!, which opened in Japan on August 8.
