Super Mario Maker Sells More Than 1 Million Copies Worldwide

Nintendo announced on Wednesday that Super Mario Maker for Wii U has sold more than one million copies worldwide since its launch on September 11.

Players have created more than 2.2 million courses within the game, and they have been played almost 75 million times in total.

Nintendo also revealed that the Super Mario franchise has sold more than 310 million units worldwide. Super Mario Maker celebrates the franchise's 30th anniversary.
