Maaya Uchida Performs Opening Song for Takunomi. Anime

posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda

The official Twitter account for the television anime adaptation of Haruto Hino's Takunomi. (Drinking at Home) four-panel manga revealed on Monday that Maaya Uchida will perform the anime's opening theme song "aventure bleu." The song's CD single will ship on February 14 with an as-yet untitled coupling track. Uchida also voices the character Makoto Kiriyama in the anime.

The comedy manga's story centers on Michiru Amazuki, a 20-year-old woman who moves to Tokyo for a new job. She moves into Stella House Haruno, a share house for women. Her housemates all have widely different jobs and ages, but as long as they have alcohol and delicious food, everything turns out fine.

Tomoki Kobayashi (Utawarerumono, Akame ga KILL!, Amagami SS+) is directing the anime at Production IMS. Katsuhiko Takayama (ef: a tale of memories, Ga-Rei: Zero, Sakurada Reset) is writing the scripts. Shinpei Kobayashi (Castle Town Dandelion) is designing the characters. Takatoshi Hamano (Keijo!!!!!!!!, The Idolm@ster SideM) is the sound director at Magic Capsule. Masato Suzuki is composing the music, and Pony Canyon is producing the music.

Hino launched the manga on Shogakukan's Manga ONE app in August 2015. Shogakukan published the manga's fourth volume on August 10, and will publish the fifth volume on December 19.
