The official website for the Tokyo Ghoul:re Call to Exist game announced on Thursday that the game's release has been delayed from winter 2018 to an unspecified date in 2019. Bandai Namco Entertainment staff noted that they want to improve the quality of the game.
Bandai Namco Entertainment America will release the third-person survival action game for PS4 and PC via Steam in the West.
The game will involve the stories of both the Tokyo Ghoul and Tokyo Ghoul:re manga, and it will have online multiplayer. Players can choose between the side of ghouls or investigators in the game, with both Haise Sasaki and Ken Kaneki as playable characters. Kōtarō Amon, Kishō Arima, Tōka Kirishima, and Shū Tsukiyama are also playable characters.
