A Silent Voice Film Ships on BD/DVD in N. America on April 2

Shout! Factory and Eleven Arts announced on Tuesday that the A Silent Voice film will ship on home video in N. America on April 2. The release will be available in a Blu-ray Disc and DVD combo pack, on DVD, and as a digital download. The release will have both Japanese audio with English subtitles and an English dub.
Eleven Arts held a new screening for the film on January 28 (subtitled), and it will also screen on January 31 (with English dub).
Naoko Yamada and Kyoto Animation's film is based on Yoshitoki Ōima's manga of the same name. Anime Limited screened the film with English subtitles in the United Kingdom and Ireland in March 2017. Eleven Arts Anime Studio screened the film in the United States in Japanese with English subtitles in October 2017 and with an English dub in February 2018.
U.K. distributor Anime Limited released the film and its English dub on Blu-ray Disc and DVD in October 2017. Viz Media Europe acquired the rights to distribute the film in the European Union, Russia, Turkey, and French-speaking African countries.
The film earned 2.3 billion yen in Japan, and was the 19th highest-grossing film released in Japan in 2016.
