In the scene in the school's hallway, Persona 3 Portable characters Rio Iwasaki and Saori Hasegawa can be seen.

During the recording for the film, voice actress Megumi Ogata's younger brother tragically passed away due to a cerebral hemorrhage. She noted that this personal experience affected her acting as Ken, as the character also must cope with loss.
