Cutie Honey Universe (TV)

Yui Horie, Kimiko Saito, Kousei Tomita, Naoko Matsui, Katsuji Mori, Urara Takano and Kazue Ikura are the only voice actors who have previously done voice work for Cutie Honey related anime.

To date this is the only Cutie Honey anime to not feature the "Cutie Honey" theme song.

One of the businessmen from episode 5 is Mr. Fujido from Gosaku Ota's Great Mazinger manga.

Jessica Calvello and John Swasey are the only two actors who returned from the English dub for New Cutey Honey. Calvello reprises her role as Honey, while Swasey takes over the role of Danbei, replacing Tristan MacAvery. Swasey had originally voiced Honey's father, Dr. Kisaragi in New Cutey Honey.

In Episode 5, Iron Shadow's human disguise, Mayor Terada is based on a character from Go Nagai's Abashiri Family manga. The surname "Terada" might be in reference to "Rinko Terada" who originally appeared in the manga Cutie Honey 90's, and later inspired a character in Re: Cutie Honey.

The armored suit White Tarantula Panther is given in episode 10 is called "Schretinger." The inspiration for the design is Ironkaiser from Mazinkaiser SKL.

In Episode 12, several characters from Go Nagai's Abashiri Family appear as members of the Honey Army. One of the characters is Goemon Abashiri, who is voiced by luz, singer of the ending theme song, "Sister."
