A Japanese/French co-production produced in 1982, 6 episodes (and a 58 minute documentary) were created but never broadcast because the heirs of the original creator of Arsene Lupin (Maurice Leblanc) wanted more money for the rights to use the Lupin name than the French co-producers were willing to pay.
