Trivia:
Many people mistook the cat attractant Haru carried as catnip (Nepeta cataria, of mint family), but it's actually known as Silver Vine (Actinidia polygama, "matatabi (マタタビ, 木天蓼)" in Japanese), a plant related to Kiwi fruit (Actinidia deliciosa). With actinidine and dihydroactinidiolide as its active ingredients, it is a strong, habit-forming cat attractant and neural tranquilizer. With appropriate dosage it is also a herbal medicine for human.
Winner of the "Best Animation Film Award" at the 7th Animation Kobe (2002)
