A subsidiary of the Kotobuki Seihan Printing company, Rex Entertainment exploded into the Anime scene in 1997 with its debut project, Perfect Blue. Then it promptly faded from the spotlight almost as fast. Following Perfect Blue, Rex Entertainment worked on a Playstation game called Running High and distributed the American TV show Bone Chillers in Japan. After these projects Rex Entertainment's parent company closed it down.
