It is the year 2032 A.D. The city of MegaTokyo is busy rebuilding itself in the aftermath of the Second Great Kanto Earthquake. Looming over a city still half in ruins is a huge conical tower: the headquarters of Genom, an international corporation that has grown rich from its control of "Boomer" technology.

Boomers: a combination of biotechnology, mechatronics, and artificial intelligence. First designed for hazardous duty in space, it was soon discovered that these artificial life-forms have any earthly uses -- not all of them benign. Although they promise to free mankind from all types of menial labor, in the wrong hands, they can be perverted into soul-less highly intelligent engines of destruction.

And they ARE in the wrong hands . . .

By 2032, the city of MegaTokyo is becoming increasingly afflicted by "Boomer Crimes," usually in the form of rampaging Combat Boomers. The AD Police, outgunned, underfunded, and under heavy political pressure, is having a hard time coping. Leon McNichol, an AD Police Lieutenant, believes that Genom is behind many of the incidents, but is unable to prove his case.

One group, however, not only knows the truth, but has the power to do something about it -- The Knight Sabers. A group of 4 female mercenaries equipped with advanced "Hard Suits," they have the ability to take on the Boomers 1 on 1—and win.

Who are the Knight Sabers, and what are the secrets of their advanced technology? A lot of people would like to know . . .

In episode 1, the U.S.S.D. (Space Defense Forces) decide to kill two birds with one stone. When a "computer technician" and a young girl are abducted, they hire the Knight Sabers to find them, and, at the same time, attempt to discover the secrets of the Hard Suits. When they finish unwrapping all the layers of deceit, the Knight Sabers find themselves fighting for their lives to save a little girl from an inhuman monster.

In episode 2, "Born to Kill," the recovery by Genom of a "Black Box" from the ruins left by the previous altercation, followed by the brutal murder of a friend of one of the Knight Sabers, triggers an assault on one of Genom's secret labs, where they must face a prototype SuperBoomer, who proceeds to shed some extremely high-intensity light on the situation.

Finally, in episode 3, "Blow Up," the Knight Sabers race to determine the identity of the Genom executive behind the recent incidents, before he figures out who they are, leading to an assault on the Genom Tower itself!
