Hideaki Anno's Shin Kamen Rider Film Casts Sousuke Ikematsu, Minami Hamabe

The official Twitter account for Hideaki Anno's Shin Kamen Rider live-action film revealed two main cast members for the film on Thursday. Sōsuke Ikematsu (left below) will play Takeshi Hongo/Kamen Rider, while Minami Hamabe (right) will play Ruriko Midorikawa.
Anno also unveiled the Cyclone motorcycle that Kamen Rider will use in the film during a press conference on Thursday. Evangelion mechanical designer Ikuto Yamashita designed the motorcycle, as highlighted in two videos (that pay homage to the very first Kamen Rider episode's opening sequence) that debuted at the conference.
The film will open in March 2023. Anno is directing, scripting, and producing the film. Shōtarō Ishinomori is credited as the original creator.
In addition to co-writing and directing the Evangelion franchise, Anno is the writer and chief director of the Shin Godzilla film and the writer of the upcoming Shin Ultraman film.
