Tenka Hyakken -Shun- Manga Ends

posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda
Manga about Kitsunegasaki, Miyabi launched in December 2017

The March issue of Kadokawa's Dengeki G's Comic magazine revealed on Wednesday that Ketsuyuki Tamon's Tenka Hyakken -Shun- (Tenka Hyakken -Moment-) manga will end in the magazine's next issue on February 28.

The Tenka Hyakken franchise centers around sword maidens called the "Mitsurugi," who are physical incarnations of ancient swords. They have pledged to live peaceful lives after the era of warfare, but are now returning to battle to fight a new foe that has arisen during an alternate version of the Meiji Era, three hundred years after the Battle of Sekigahara. The Tenka Hyakken -Shun- manga centers on Kitsunegasaki, a timid Mitsurugi, and Miyabi, a novice Mitsurugi user, traveling together and meeting various Mitsurugi on their journey of self-improvement.

Tamon launched the manga alongside Yūki Takami's Tenka Hyakken -Sai- (Tenka Hyakken -Color-) manga for the same franchise in Dengeki G's Comic in December 2017. That manga ended last December.

The franchise previously inspired several other manga, novels, and a smartphone game titled Tenka Hyakken -Zan- in April 2017.
