TBS Sells 3.5 Kilograms of K-ON!! Go-han ha Okazu!! Rice

The official online shop of the television network TBS began selling the official K-ON!! "Go-han ha Okazu!!" Pre-Washed Rice — in 3.488-kilogram (about 7.7-pound) batches. The Akita Prefecture rice actually comes in a package of eight 436-gram (0.96-pound) bags along with a Ho-kago no Tea Time logo measuring cup and an exclusive cardboard container decorated by the character Yui. Each package costs 3,980 yen (US$48.90, tax included) and will ship in late November or early December.
The rice is ostensibly offered in honor of "Go-han ha Okazu!!" — the song by the late composer Bice that the anime's five-girl Ho-kago no Tea Time band performed in the last high school festival concert.
