Goo Poll: Live-Action Manga/Anime Adaptations That Worked

The Japanese portal site Goo asked its readers which live-action adaptations of manga or anime titles they liked. The poll ranked thirty-eight live-action films, and the Death Note live-action adaptations received the most votes.

Earlier this year, the market research firm Oricon also conducted a survey to determine which manga respondents thought received successful live-action adaptations. Nodame Cantabile, Hana Yori Dango, and Jin were the top three choices. The Japanese portal site Cobs Online conducted a similar poll, asking users which manga should not be made into live-action films. One Piece received a majority of votes in that poll.
