Koei Tecmo Games' crossover Nintendo DS game to ship in spring 2012

A session at Shueisha's "Jump Festa" anime and manga event announced a new Pokémon game titled Pokémon + Nobunaga's Ambition (Pokémon Nobunaga no Yabou) on Saturday. Koei Tecmo Games is developing the Nintendo DS game for release in spring 2012.

Pokémon + Nobunaga's Ambition is a crossover between the Pokémon franchise and KOEI's Nobunaga's Ambition strategy role-playing game series. The company released the first Nobunaga's Ambition game in Japan in 1983 for the MSX. The most recent Nintendo DS title in the series was the 2008 Nobunaga's Ambition DS 2 game.

Jump Festa is Shueisha's annual event for fans of its Weekly Shonen Jump magazine and the related manga, anime, games, and spinoffs. This year's event is taking place on December 17 and 18.
