Shiravune is pleased to announce that TORAWASE: The Girl in the Mirror from the developers at Dark One! will be coming to Steam!
The game is a psychological thriller of a visual novel that follows a young man as he becomes entangled in a twisted web of obsession, transformation, and desire. Transported back in time whenever he dreams, the protagonist finds himself drawn into a series of inescapable encounters with enigmatic characters, each harboring objectives that threaten his very body and soul. Each time he wakes, he finds himself turning more and more into the woman he was in his dreams. As the story unfolds, players will experience a gripping narrative filled with suspense, drama, and shocking revelations.
The game features full Japanese voice acting by veteran voice actors, vividly bringing each character to life. It also has a multi-choice, multi-ending narrative, with over 2 hours of story content and beautifully illustrated CGs.

INTRO
An old castle in Eastern Europe that's been renovated into a hotel...
Traveling all the way from Japan, the protagonist proposes to his girlfriend there, and she accepts.
However, an unexpected phone call causes his girlfriend, now-fiancée, to take an emergency flight back home for work reasons.
Once left on his own, the protagonist has a strange dream. He becomes a woman, invited into an era when the castle still flourished. When he wakes from his dream, he realizes with shock that he's physically transforming into the woman he was in his dream.
And although he struggles to find a way to change back, every time he sleeps, he's taken to the dream world―the castle during the Middle Ages. Every time he wakes from the dreams, his body comes closer to becoming that of an actual woman.
His girlfriend accepted his proposal, but he can't get back to her like this. Will he escape his dreams? Can he transform back into a man? Or will the future take a turn in an unseen direction...?

Young and full of promise, the protagonist has been trusted with more important tasks recently at work. He's brimming with consideration for others while also pushing forward with conviction where needed; he's overall willful and confident.
He visits a hotel, renovated from an old castle, in Eastern Europe to give a surprise wedding proposal to his girlfriend, Yuki Suwabe. But a dream he has at the hotel, where he turns into a woman, causes him to gradually transform into one in real life.
The devils who made this way give him the name “Mia” for his female form.
Yuki Suwabe

A clever woman who works as a project manager at a pharmaceutical company.
More of a callous decision-maker at work, others tend to think Yuki is cold and impassive.
The only person she feels comfortable showing her true self to is the protagonist. Too capable for her own good, work has piled up in front of her, and she's had her hands full for the last couple of years.
During her long-awaited paid leave, she travels to Eastern Europe with her boyfriend, and he proposes to her. But at the heights of her joy, her workplace summons her, and she's forced to take flight back home. How can she know trouble has befallen her poor fiancé?

One of the twin devils who can easily distort the laws of this world. As one half of the twins, it is said Yalbha rules over summer, men, and life.
At one point, he may have been worshiped as a deity. His nature can be, at times, playful, ruthless, innocent, or malevolent.
He invites the protagonist into the past through a world of dreams and gives him a female body. He firmly insists that the protagonist will be happiest by becoming a woman.
Mahzanar
Voice: Nadeko Kurashita
“We wish you to be happy. To find true happiness...”
One of the twin devils who can easily distort the laws of this world. As one half of the twins, it is said Mahzanar rules over winter, women, and death.
At one point, she may have been worshiped as a deity. Her nature can be, at times, playful, ruthless, innocent, or malevolent.
She invites the protagonist into the past through a world of dreams and gives him a female body. She firmly insists that the protagonist will be happiest by becoming a woman.

Wlad Damythf. The second head of house Damythf. A noble from the past―in the dream world―who owns the land where the old castle stands in glory.
Broad-minded and a capable individual as a politician and a soldier, Damythf is notably ambitious. He flourished his land with his talents, but as a result, made enemies of other nobles who wished to find and exploit his weaknesses.
Thus, they put his wife, Chlerna, under suspicion for being a witch.

“I still chose to be together with my husband.”
Chlerna Gupia Damythf.A noblewoman from the past―in the dream world―and the wife of Damythf.
Chlerna is a proper and virtuous lady with a noble upbringing. She has a graceful temperament, and she believes it is right to obey her husband.
Their marriage has been fair.
While shocked to see a mirror double of herself with Mia (the protagonist), she eagerly looks after him as though tending to a younger sister.
