Square Enix Unveils Star Galaxy Simulation Game on Yahoo! Japan

Players train as officers & then lead forces in battle to seek a new home planet


The countdown that Square Enix launched last week ended on Wednesday with confirmation of a Star Galaxy simulation game for personal computer browsers on the Yahoo! Japan Games platform.

The game is set in a distant galaxy, where the planet Eden has been oblieterated. Four superpowers — the Borudōru Empire, the Order of the Holy Serushion Knights, the Space Trade Alliance, and the Federal Republic of Vivan — wage war In the Aftermath as they seek to claim a new home. Players assume the roles of officers who undergo training and then command forces, side-by-side or against each other. Up to 2,000 players can battle each other in the same campaign.

Square Enix is accepting applications for closed-beta testers until next Wednesday, and the website is streaming a promotional video.
