Earth Defense Force 4 Heads West as Earth Defense Force 2025

D3 Publisher announced that it will release its Earth Defense Force 4 game in North America under the title Earth Defense Force 2025 on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles next year. Namco Bandai Games will release the game in Europe. As in the previous games in the series, alien bugs have invaded Earth, and it is up to the player to save humanity.

This time, the aliens have new creatures such as the Retiarius spiders that ensare entire buildings in webs. The player can attack the invaders from the ground or from the air as a Web Diver.

D3 Publisher is also releasing Earth Defense Force 3 P, the PlayStation Vita port of the Xbox 360 game Earth Defense Force 3, in English as Earth Defense Force 2017 Portable next February.
