Hyouka's Model Town Releases Themed Tourism Maps

Themed goods also available in collaboration between anime and Hida-Takamyama

The official website for Hida-Takayama, Gifu, Japan revealed their collaborative tour guide map with the Hyōka anime series. The map, which is also available on the website for download, shows the user many locations that were shown in the Hyōka anime, including the high school Oreki, Eru, and the others attend. Not only is the map digital, but 10,000 physical copies have been published for distribution.

Hida-Takayama, the setting of Hyōka's story, has been collaborating with Hyōka since last year. Aside from the maps, they have also produced Hyōka postcards, Hyōka Rice, and Hyōka coasters. The goods are being sold at various stores around the Hida-Takayama area, and have increased tourism to the city to due otaku “pilgrimages” due to Hyōka.
