Ichijinsha Offers Karneval Nyanperōna Plush Toy

The Japanese publisher Ichijinsha is currently taking pre-orders for a plush toy of the Circus mascot Nyanperōna from Touya Mikanagi's Karneval manga. In the manga itself, Nyanperōna is very popular with children and has a lot of tie-in merchandise.
The 17.5-centimeter (6.9-inch) tall plush costs 1,600 yen (US$17) and is available to order through Monthly Comic Zero-Sum or through Ichijinsha's online shop. Pre-orders wil run through May 28, and the plush itself will ship near the end of July.
Mikanagi's manga is getting a television anime adaptation starting on April 3. Ichijinsha will publish the manga's 11th volume on April 25. The manga is currently running in Ichijinsha's Monthly Comic Zero-Sum magazine. In the May issue of the magazine, which shipped on Thursday, Ichijinsha is offering a mail-away service to win a reproduction of the first anime episode's script and a special clear file. The issue also included a drama and cast talk CD featuring anime cast members Hiro Shimono, Hiroshi Kamiya, Mamoru Miyano, and Aya Endō.
