Luigi Gets His Own 3DS XL Color Bundle in Japan

Nintendo revealed on Wednesday that a Luigi 30th Anniversary Pack will be released in Japan on July 18. The pack includes a Luigi 3DS XL (known as the 3DS LL in Japan) model, SD card, and a copy of Mario & Luigi RPG 4: Dream Adventure (Mario & Luigi: Dream Team).
The model's cover features Luigi's silhouette in three green colors while the SD card shows the character in his original 8-bit form with "The Year of Luigi" written underneath.
As part of the 30th anniversary of Luigi's debut in the first Super Mario Bros. game, Nintendo also confirmed that Luigi-only downloadable content will be available for New Super Mario Brothers Wii U.

Luigi joins other iconic characters that received their own 3DS XL variants. Other versions include Pikachu yellow and Charizard versions, and a black-and-white version promoting Shin Megami Tensei IV.
