Yui Makino, Miyuki Sawashiro Star in Schoolgirl Survival Game Anime C3-Bu

The June issue of Kodansha's Monthly Young Magazine is revealing the cast for this summer's anime adaptation of the Tokurei Sochi Dantai Stella Jo-Gakuin Kōtō-ka C3-Bu (Special Measures Unit: Stella Girls' Academy High School's C3 Club) manga on Wednesday:
- Yui Makino as Yura Yamato
- Miyuki Sawashiro Sonora Kashima
- Ai Kayano as Karila Hatsuse
- Chiwa Saito as Honoka Mutsu
- Rima Nishizaki as Rento Kirishima
- Madoka Yonezawa as Yachiyo Hinata
This will be the voice-acting debut for actress/model Nishizaki.
In Ikoma and Tomomoka Midori's original manga, Yura Yamato has just arrived at the high school division of Stella Girl's Academy, when Sonora Kashima invites her to join a club called "C3." Sonora is the third-year student who became the new head of this club for survival games. The other members include two second-year students (part-Japanese Karila Hatsuse and G36K-wielding Honoka Mutsu) and two other new students (Rento Kirishima whose family runs a Japanese sweets shop and the really short Yachiyo Hinata).
Masayoshi Kawajiri is making his series directorial debut with this anime at the studio Gainax. Manami Umeshita (Medaka Box sub-character design) is designing the characters, while Kotaro Nakagawa (Code Geass, Hayate the Combat Butler, Psychic Squad) is composing the music.
The anime will premiere on the TBS and BS-TBS stations this summer. A teaser trailer began streaming in March:
