Clip Studio Paint Sponsors Kodansha's First Global Manga Contest 'KMA Award: Mangaka Discovery' - Supporting the Next Generation of Storytellers

CLIP STUDIO PAINT, the illustration, comic, webtoon, and animation app developed and distributed by Celsys, is sponsoring the KMA AWARD: MANGAKA DISCOVERY, a new comic contest hosted by Kodansha.

This contest calls manga talents of any nationality or experience level to submit their manga for an opportunity for professional debut. It is run as part of KODANSHA MANGA ACADEMY (KMA), an official global platform for manga creators operated by Kodansha.

Contest winners will receive a license for CLIP STUDIO PAINT, a painting app used in professional studios all over the globe.

KMA AWARD: MANGAKA DISCOVERY marks Kodansha's biggest ever search for new global talent. Based on the strong belief that “potential, not perfection, is the key to success,” artists of any experience level and nationality are encouraged to apply. Editors from Kodansha's seven comic editorial departments will consider all entries and judge them for their potential to be professionally serialized.
