Yowapeda T-Shirts Turn into Instant Character Face Masks
posted on by Carlos Cadorniga
Inspired by the bike-riding anime, Akita Shoten's online store is planning to sell new "Yowamushi Pedal Change T-shirts".
These double-layered shirts come with a character's face printed upside-down on the inside When one flips up the outer layer and pulls it over their head, they are able to wear the face print like a mask. The shirts currently have two versions, the Akira Midōsuji version and the Hayato Shinkai version, pictured below.
When worn normally, the shirts are printed with the character's respective numbers from their biking teams.
The shirt sizes range from small to XXL, though it is recommended that those who wish to wear the printed face may have to order a larger size than what normally fits them.
Pre-orders are being accepted until August 16 and the shirts are expected to ship in September and cost 5,400 yen (about US$44).
