Otaku mail order website Super Groupies launched pre-orders for a new line of fluffy K-ON! loungewear on Tuesday. The website is accepting pre-orders until September 24, and the items will ship in early December. Five different varieties of loungewear are available, each modeled after one of the five main characters in the anime. Each set costs 10,800 yen (about US$100) without tax.

The Yui Hirasawa loungewear is a red hooded sweatshirt with gray leggings. "HTT," the abbreviation of the main band's name (Ho-kago Tea Time or After-School Tea Time), appears on the front of the sweatshirt in blue and white. The leggings feature a pattern of the band's instruments in blue, yellow, red, and pink.

The K-ON! anime aired in 2009 and received a second season in 2010. Kakifly's original four-panel manga inspired the series. An anime film debuted in 2011. Bandai Entertainment released the first anime series in North America, and Sentai Filmworks released both seasons as well as the film. Yen Press released the four-volume manga.

Previous K-ON! merchandise has included a light-up bass effector, Mugi's keyboard, (nearly) life-size stickers, eyeglasses, and ladies' underwear.
