Channel Your Inner Villain With My Hero Academia's Tomura Mug

posted on by Jennifer Sherman

The "Boku no Hero Academia My Hero Museum ~Shōnen-tachi no Kiseki wo Tadore~" (My Hero Academia My Hero Museum: Following the Children's Tracks) exhibition revealed merchandise last week. The exhibition's mug and coaster inspired by League of Villains leader Tomura Shigaraki will let fans recreate the character's characteristic facepalm look.

The mug will cost 2,000 yen (about US$18) and come with a hand-shaped coaster. When the mug attaches to the coaster and the user drinks, the set remakes the appearance of Tomura's trademark disembodied hand covering his face.

Other merchandise available for purchase at the exhibition will include badges, key holders, clear files, towels, cookie tins, rubber straps, mobile phone batteries, T-shirts, book covers, notebooks, letter pouches, plastic mugs, and a nap pillow.

The exhibition will run at the World Import Mart building in the Sunshine City complex in Ikebukuro, Tokyo from September 30 to October 8. The exhibit celebrates the release of the My Hero Academia: Two Heroes film, which debuted in July, and its concept is based on a story from the television anime's third season.

In addition to the upcoming exhibition, the franchise already received a new puzzle-solving event in Tokyo this summer.
