AnimeVillage offers free Saber Marionette J replacements

AnimeVillage announced Friday that due to the duplication problem that caused audio drop-outs in most of the copies of Saber Marionette J that shipped, they will be sending free replacement copies to everyone that bought a copy, regardless whether their copy was affected or not. ("If your copy is all right, then you have a head-start on your Christmas shopping!" they said in their announcement.) Customers will NOT have to ship back their old copies.
The replacement copies, which will be shipped to customers via the most expensive shipping option available, are expected to go out immediately. The move is being widely regarded as a very good move by AnimeVillage, which has suffered from PR problems as of late. (On the AnimeVillage bulletin board, one customer noted that "my opinion of Anime Village has gone up more than a few knotches!" AnimeVillage staff, unfortunately, has not been seen on the message board in weeks after the angry letters that ensued from earlier problems with prices and shipping.)
