Lain Sequel in the works

Hideki Gotō, Pioneer VP of animation and executive producer of the original Serial Experiment Lain tv series stated that Pioneer plans to produce a sequel to the original series.

While the original series was a co-production of Pioneer and GENCO productions the sequel will be entirely produced by Pioneer.
