Shoujocon 2004 Cancelled

According to a message posted to the Shoujocon website and the Anime Cons Mailing List by Shoujocon 2004-2005 chair Angela Washington, Shoujocon 2004 will not take place. Reasons given include the difficulty of securing a hotel (Shoujocon has gone through three different venues in four years) and the need to regroup. However, both Shoujocon and its parent organization, the Shoujo Arts Society, plan on continuing to host shoujo-themed events at other conventions, and plans for Shoujocon 2005 are already in development.
