50-foot tall Mecha Float on Parade

JPL and Caltech university have created to create a 50-foot tall mecha-type float for the annual New Year's Day Rose Parade in Pasadena, California. An artist rendering of the finished float here. Folowing the parade, the float won the Crown City Inovation award for "Best Use of Imagination & Inovation to Advance the Art of Float Design." Thanks to Gai Dagouji for this article.
